2019/10/31 - 2019/11/02 | We're rolling out updates to all MCUs to fix a couple of bugs reported related to periodical audio loss related to how Chrome & Firefox handle device initialization in certain cases and periodical issues with loss of image when using PDF or Screen Sharing. During the update timeframe users will be redirected away from their preferred MCU server and onto the next closest and available. Users already connected to the to-be maintained MCUs will experience a disconnection and short 10 second unavailability of that specific MCU node but will be able to login back into their meeting immediately as they will be served by the next closest and available MCU.

06 October, 2019 | All MCU servers will be updated to the latest stable version. A rolling restart of all MCU servers will take place. The latest MCU package contains improvements to meeting video quality as well a major fix to ongoing incorrect bandwidth warnings and notifications.

25 September, 2019 | Updates to the following MCU's have been pushed in order to rectify the issues related to certain webinars caused by certain functoinality in the Firefox browser as well as improvements for support of the 'Remote Control' functionality in 'Quick Meetings': as002-mum.3cx.net, as004-syd.3cx.net as005-syd.3cx.net and as008-sgp.3cx.net have been updated as a fist step.

25-28 September, 2019 | We'll be pushing updates to allow the functionality of 'Remote Control' to work in 'Quick Meetings'. This update will be pushed to production Additionally we've discovered a minor issue that affects some Webinars when participants use Firefox. We are working on identifying the issue, fixing it and testing the fix before we also push this fix to production. This fix may likely become available in the next few days or during this weekend's maintenance update.

23 September, 2019 | Remote control is available again. Temporary restrictions to avoid misuse in Quick Meetings have been added. This means that your quick meeting / quick launch meeting (the quick join room in your webclient) will temporarily not support the remote control function. We'll be working towards adding this functionality, but this will unfortunately take some time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
